Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

Bharat Alumni is open to alumni, current students, and affiliates of Indian colleges and universities. You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

2. Acceptable use

• Don't impersonate another person or institute, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent.
• Job, business, and event listings must be genuine — no spam, scams, or unrelated advertising.
• Blood requests must be genuine; misuse of the blood-donor network is grounds for account removal.
• Treat other members' contact information as private — use it only for the purpose it was shared with you.

3. Subscriptions and billing

New accounts start on the Free plan, which includes full access to every feature. Yearly and Lifetime plans are optional paid upgrades processed through Razorpay, priced in INR inclusive of GST; see our Refund Policy for cancellation terms. A Yearly plan renews annually unless cancelled; a Lifetime plan has no renewal date.

4. Referral program

Every member has a unique referral code and link. When someone signs up using it and later upgrades to a paid plan, you earn a 20% commission on the base plan price they pay, excluding GST, tracked automatically. Commissions move through a pending → approved → paid pipeline and are visible on your billing page. We reserve the right to withhold or reverse a commission obtained through fraudulent signups or self-referral.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of job postings, business listings, event listings, and profile content you submit. By posting, you grant Bharat Alumni a license to display it to other members as intended by the feature you used. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you post.

6. Moderation and termination

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion, with or without notice depending on severity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

7. Disclaimer

Bharat Alumni is a platform connecting members — we do not verify blood-donor eligibility, employment offers, business listings, or the outcome of any connection made through the platform, and are not liable for interactions between members.

8. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
